The VLX600 rear fender and side covers are plastic which I'm not fond of. But it'll do for now. If you are looking for after market goodies for '97 and '98, these are transition years and you need to verify the year fitting. There is very little available through '97.
All this stuff unbolts pretty easy.

The plastic fender wraps over this frame and sub-frame. There don't seem to be any sissy bars available through '97. So I'm kicking around how to fit a proper steel fender and a sissy bar as well.
